These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of MeteorInk, including its website, reading and writing features, accounts, community features, and related services (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must satisfy the minimum age requirements displayed by MeteorInk and applicable law to create or use an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your credentials, and all activity conducted through your account. You must not impersonate another person or create an account for an unlawful purpose.
2. Acceptable Use
You shall use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with the operation or security of the Service, circumvent access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute malware, manipulate views or rankings, engage in fraud, or use automated means to abuse the platform without authorization.
3. User-Generated Content
Users retain ownership of original content they lawfully submit. By submitting content, you grant MeteorInk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and technically process that content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the Service. This licence does not transfer ownership of your copyright.
4. Intellectual Property
MeteorInk’s name, branding, interface, original artwork, software, design elements, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to MeteorInk and may not be copied, modified, redistributed, or commercially exploited without authorization. User content remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.
5. Prohibited Conduct and Content
Plagiarism, copyright infringement, unlawful material, credible threats, targeted harassment, non-consensual intimate material, sexual exploitation of minors, fraud, malicious software, impersonation, spam, and other material prohibited by applicable law or MeteorInk policy are not permitted.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
MeteorInk may review reports and take reasonable enforcement action, including limiting visibility, removing content, suspending features, or terminating accounts where there is a violation of these Terms, applicable law, or platform policies. Where appropriate, users may be given an opportunity to appeal an enforcement decision.
7. Third-Party Services
Authentication, social-media links, payment providers, analytics services, and other third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. MeteorInk is not responsible for the independent operation or policies of third-party services.
8. Availability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. MeteorInk does not warrant uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy of user-generated content, or that every defect will be corrected immediately. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeteorInk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the Service. This provision does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account closure through the available account or support mechanisms. MeteorInk may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, legal rights, or compliance obligations.
11. Changes to These Terms
MeteorInk may revise these Terms as the Service develops. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means. The updated effective date will be displayed above. Continued use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer or other rights that apply to you. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent under applicable law.
13. Contact
Questions concerning these Terms, account matters, or legal notices may be submitted through MeteorInk’s official contact or reporting channels.

5. Sharing and Disclosure
MeteorInk may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, analytics, payments, or other necessary operations, and where required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. MeteorInk does not sell personal information merely because a third-party service is used.
6. Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures will be used to protect information. No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure, and users should maintain appropriate account security.
7. Retention and Deletion
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain legitimate records. Subject to applicable law and technical limitations, users may request deletion of eligible account information.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Service or applicable requirements change. The effective date will be updated accordingly.
Copyright & Takedown Policy
MeteorInk respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to publish only content they are legally entitled to publish.
1. Reporting Infringement
A rights holder or authorized representative may submit a copyright complaint identifying the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, its location on MeteorInk, contact information, a good-faith statement of unauthorized use, and a statement that the information provided is accurate.
2. Review and Action
MeteorInk may review a sufficiently detailed complaint and, where appropriate, restrict access to the reported material while the matter is assessed. MeteorInk may request additional information before taking action.
3. Counter-Notices and Disputes
Where legally appropriate, an affected user may provide a response explaining why the material should remain available. MeteorInk may restore or continue restricting content based on the evidence, applicable law, and platform policy.
4. Repeat Infringement
Accounts associated with repeated or serious infringement may be restricted or terminated.
5. False Reports
Knowingly false or abusive copyright complaints may result in enforcement action and may expose the complainant to legal consequences under applicable law.

1. Respectful Participation
Users must not engage in targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, discriminatory abuse, or sustained personal attacks.

5. Enforcement
Depending on severity and circumstances, enforcement may include warnings, content restrictions, removal, feature limitations, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.
Content Policy
Authors and users are responsible for ensuring that content submitted to MeteorInk complies with applicable law and these policies.
1. Prohibited Content
Content involving child sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, unlawful instructions intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing, non-consensual intimate material, malicious software, fraud, impersonation, or other unlawful material is prohibited.
2. Copyright and Plagiarism
Users must not upload works they do not have the right to distribute. Copying another creator’s work and presenting it as original is prohibited.
3. Mature Material
Any mature-content rules, age gates, labeling requirements, and category restrictions displayed by MeteorInk must be followed. Content involving minors in sexual contexts is prohibited regardless of fictional framing.
4. Commercial and Promotional Content
Commercial promotions, referral activity, or advertising must comply with MeteorInk’s applicable rules and must not mislead users or interfere with platform operation.
5. Policy Enforcement
MeteorInk may restrict or remove content that violates this Policy or creates a material legal, security, or safety risk.
Author Agreement
This Author Agreement applies to users who publish original written works on MeteorInk.
1. Author Ownership
Subject to rights in third-party material, the author retains ownership of original works submitted to MeteorInk. Publication on the platform does not by itself transfer copyright ownership to MeteorInk.
2. Platform Licence
The author grants MeteorInk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format, distribute through the Service, and technically process the work as necessary to operate and promote the platform.
3. Author Representations
The author represents that they have the necessary rights to publish the submitted work and that publication does not knowingly violate another person’s copyright, privacy, contractual rights, or applicable law.
4. Content Responsibility
The author is responsible for the accuracy, legality, originality, and appropriate labeling of their work. MeteorInk does not assume authorship of user-submitted works merely by hosting them.
5. Removal and Account Action
MeteorInk may restrict or remove works that violate platform policies, legal requirements, or third-party rights. Repeated or serious violations may affect the author’s account.
6. Future Monetization
If MeteorInk introduces paid publishing, subscriptions, advertising revenue, tipping, or other monetization, the applicable commercial terms, payout rules, fees, taxes, and eligibility requirements will be presented separately before participation.

Include the Following Information
Provide your name, contact information, the relevant page or content identifier, a concise description of the issue, and supporting information sufficient for review. Copyright complaints should additionally identify the protected work and the basis of the rights claim.
Urgent Safety Matters
Where a matter involves an immediate threat to a person’s safety or other urgent legal concern, users should contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authority in addition to notifying MeteorInk where appropriate.
Good-Faith Reporting
Reports should be accurate and submitted in good faith. Repeatedly submitting knowingly false or abusive reports may result in restrictions on reporting privileges or account action.
Response Times
MeteorInk will make reasonable efforts to review reports, but response times may vary according to complexity, volume, urgency, and legal requirements.
